Product description
The suspended heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) fire extinguishing device is a highly efficient and clean fire protection system. Its core components include an HFC-227ea agent storage cylinder, suspension bracket, thermal/electrical activation device, and discharge assembly. It is ideally suited for use in precision equipment rooms or critical areas such as computer rooms, server rooms, electrical switchgear rooms, and archives.
The system works by releasing heptafluoropropane agent to rapidly reduce the oxygen concentration in the protected area and interrupt the combustion chain reaction, achieving fast fire suppression. The extinguishing process produces no dust or water damage, avoiding secondary harm to electronic devices, circuits, or paper-based archives. Installed overhead, the unit requires no floor space, making it ideal for confined or equipment-dense environments. With flexible activation options—including manual operation or integration with automatic fire alarm systems—it meets diverse fire safety requirements.
Additionally, heptafluoropropane is environmentally friendly, with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), aligning with the modern fire protection industry’s green development principles.

Design Features
This ceiling-mounted fire suppression unit is installed directly above or within the protected area, enabling rapid and even distribution of heptafluoropropane at the fire source. By eliminating complex piping, it ensures quick discharge and high efficiency. Its compact, self-contained design allows easy installation in tight or overhead spaces, ideal for protecting high-risk equipment like electrical cabinets, server racks, and control panels.
Starting mode
Depending on the model, the suspended FM200 fire extinguisher can be activated using a fixed temperature, electric explosion, or solenoid valve. For example, a fixed temperature fire extinguisher relies on a fixed temperature glass ball on the valve that expands and ruptures upon heating during a fire to open the valve and release the fire extinguishing agent.
